Mitchel Dean Barker, age 67, passed away on Monday, June 26, 2023, at the Wichita County Health Center in Leoti, Kansas. He was born to Rex & Janice McLeish Barker on August 1, 1955, in Scott City, Kansas. He was a lifelong member of the community.

Mitch was known as a man with many talents. He could fix about anything and enjoyed canning, gardening, entertaining people, hunting, and fishing. He was a hard worker and a good friend to all.

Survivors include his sisters Monica & Kevin Cambell of Lakin, Kansas, Rebecca & Jeff Berning of Garden City, Kansas, and his brothers Todd & Janet Barker, and Rod & Lora Barker of Tipton, Kansas.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held on July 5, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at the Wichita County Community Building, 502 M Street, Leoti, Kansas with Terry Laws residing. Interment will follow at the Leoti Cemetery. Services will be live-streamed at www.priceandsons.com.

Visitation will be on July 4 from 12:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m.
