Minnie E. Pinkston, age 91, passed away on Sunday, July 30, 2006 at the Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on April 2, 1915 in Bosell, Indiana, the daughter of Frank and Oleva Carlise Hurst. A lifetime resident of Healy, Kansas, she moved to Scott City in 1983. Before she was married she was a teacher in a Lane County Country School, she was a homemaker and loved to travel.

On April 25, 1936 she married Orval Sidney "Tub" Pinkston in Scott City, Kansas. He passed away on May 8, 1982 in Rook County, Kansas.
