Meredith Johnson 39, of Larkspur, Colorado died Monday, April 24, in an automobile accident. Meredith was born December 4, 1966 at Scott City, Kansas, the daughter of Gordon and Sandra (Notestine) Cavenee. She was married to Kris Johnson in Tribune, Kansas on July 19, 1987. She was the loving mother of two children, Garrett 12, and Kaitlyn 3. She was preceded in death by her father, Gordon Cavenee of Tribune, Kansas. She was the owner of Supreme Lending of Denver, Colorado. She was a member of the New Covenant Fellowship Church in Larkspur, Colorado, where she and Kris were able to take a special trip of outreach to Mexico last year. She is survived by her husband Kris Johnson and their two children of the home, Larkspur, Colorado; Mother, Sandra Cavenee of Bradenton, Florida; two brothers, Michael of Rothell, Washington, Mark of Tribune, Kansas, and three sisters; Michelle Ballah of Leoti, Kansas, Melanie Graber of Manhattan, Kansas and Marci Hillhouse of Shawnee Mission, Kansas. Services will be held on April 27, Thursday at 2 p.m. at New Covenant Fellowship Church, Larkspur, Colorado and on April 28, Friday at 2 p.m. at United Methodist Church, Tribune, Kansas with burial at Tribune Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the Johnson Children's Educational Fund.
