Melvin C. Cheney

Melvin C. Cheney, age 91, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2021, at the Greeley County Long Term Care Center in Tribune, Kansas.  He was born on September 1, 1930 at the family farm in Greeley County, Kansas, the son of George Dewey and Minnie Boles Cheney.  A lifetime resident of Greeley County, Kansas, he was a Farmer and Rancher.

He was a member of the Tribune United Methodist Church in Tribune, Kansas.

On March 9, 1952 he married M. Nadine McDonald in Tribune, Kansas.  She survives.

Survivors include his Wife - Nadine Cheney of Tribune, Kansas, One Son - Tad Cheney of Phoenix, Arizona, One Daughter - Marylin & Mark Kleymann of Tribune, Kansas, Two Grandchildren - Jason & Kellee Kleymann of Tribune, Kansas, Erin Kleymann & Justin Griffin of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Two Great Grandsons - Cyril J. Kleymann of Tribune, Kansas, and Clark M. Kleymann of Tribune, Kansas.

He is preceded in death by his Parents, One Daughter - Mira Jane Cheney, and One Brother - Dale B. Cheney.

Memorial Services will be held at a later date.
