Mathilda Elizabeth Schreck, age 93, passed away on Friday, July 6, 2012 at Shawnee Mission Medical Center in Shawnee Mission, Kansas. Mathilda was born November 19, 1918 near Tipton, Kansas, the daughter of Alphonse P. & Elizabeth Krier Fischer. A resident of the Marienthal, Kansas area for over seventy years, she was a farm wife and homemaker.
Mathilda was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and St. Mary Alter Society both of Marienthal, Kansas.
On February 22, 1943 she married Frank Schreck at Marienthal, Kansas. Frank passed away on January 23, 2008 at Hays, Kansas.

Vigil Services will be held at 7:00 pm Tuesday, July 10, 2012 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Marienthal, Kansas.
Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 am Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Marienthal, Kansas with Father Benjamin Martin officiating.
Burial will be in St. Mary Cemetery at Marienthal, Kansas.
Friends may call from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm Tuesday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.
Memorials may be given to St. Mary Catholic Church, Boys Town or The Sanctuary of Hope in care of the funeral home.
