Mark Chester Fouquet, age 72, passed away on Friday, May 12, 2023, at his home in Scott City, Kansas. He was born on September 8, 1950, to Chester M & Dorothy Dean Fouquet in Garden City, Kansas. He was a lifetime resident of Scott City, Kansas where he owned and operated Fouquet Insurance Agency.
He was a member of the Lake Scott Car Club, an Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America, a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City, Kansas, and a Sergeant in the United States Army, having served in Vietnam.
On November 20, 1971, he married Terri Lynne Snyder in his hometown of Scott City. She survives.
Survivors include his Wife, two Daughters - Rebecca & Shane Faurot of Scott City, Kansas, Monica Fouquet of Valley Center, Kansas, two Sons - Dan & Sharla Fouquet of Cheney, Kansas, Mike & Patti Fouquet of Scott City, Kansas, two Sisters - Ronna & Ron Cunningham of Black Diamond, Washington, Anna & Jon Crane of Scott City, Kansas, two Brothers - Dean & Kim Fouquet of Missouri, Joe & Brenda Fouquet of Oklahoma, eleven Grandchildren - Emily Faurot, Marshall Faurot, Loren Faurot, Carson Faurot, Tim & Chelsea Fouquet, Claire Fouquet, Adelle Fouquet, Lucy Fouquet, Henry Fouquet, Jess West, Matt West, two Great Grandchildren - Hunter and River West and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his Parents - Chester & Dorothy Fouquet and one Sister - Mary Terease Fouquet.
Funeral Vigil will be held on Monday, May 15, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Scott City, Kansas.
Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Scott City, Kansas with Father Don Bedore presiding.
In Lieu Of Flowers, memorials can be written to the Mark Fouquet Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home, PO Box 553, Scott City, Kansas.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday and 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. Monday at Price & Sons Funeral Home, 410 S. Washington St., Scott City, Kansas.
Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas.
