Marjorie Marion Peter, age 84, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2014 at Greeley County Health Center in Tribune, Kansas. Marge was born March 5, 1929 at Larned, Kansas, the daughter of Conrad Henry & Anna Katherina Leinberger Woelk. A resident of Greeley County, Kansas since 1952, she was a teacher, farm wife and homemaker. She received her probational teaching certificate from Fort Hays State Teachers College in 1947 and taught in the Pawnee Rock, Kansas area for a short time.
Marge was a member of the former St. Paul Lutheran Church in Tribune, Kansas. She was also active at the Melvin O. Kuder Senior Citizen Center and the Red Hat Club.
On December 11, 1949 she married Lawrence A. (Mick) Peter at Albert, Kansas.

Her parents, three siblings, Juanita Smith, Virginia Smith and Leroy (Jim) Woelk and two daughters, Linda Kay Peter and Diana Lynn Ramsey precede her in death.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 pm (MT) Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at the First Presbyterian Church in Tribune, Kansas with Terry Woodbury officiating.
Burial will be in Greeley County Cemetery in Tribune, Kansas.
Friends may call from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Sunday and from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm Monday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Tribune, Kansas.
Memorials may be given to the First Presbyterian Church, Greeley County Recreation Foundation or the Melvin O. Kuder Senior Citizen Center in care of the funeral home.
