Marjorie Emma Parsons, age 95, passed away on Sunday, June 25, 2017, at Wichita County Health Center in Leoti, Kansas. Marjorie was born November 4, 1921, in Caldwell, Idaho, the daughter of Frank Gustav & Affa Emma (Root) Carlson. She earned her Bachelor of Science teaching degree from McPherson College. A resident of Leoti, Kansas since 2011, moving from Centralia, Washington, she was a homemaker and a Missionary for the Free United Methodist Church, where she and her husband traveled all over the world including New York City, China, Japan, Hong Kong, Kentucky, Indiana, Kansas, Oregon, and Washington.
Marjorie was a member of Women’s Missionary International.
On August 29, 1942, she married Elmer Earl Parsons at Caldwell, Idaho. Elmer passed away on March 23, 2007, in Centralia, Washington.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am Thursday, June 29, 2017 at West Bethany Free Methodist Church in Wichita County, Kansas with Pastor Bruce Leisy officiating.
Burial will be in Clarkston-Vineland Cemetery in Clarkston, Washington.
Friends may call from 10:00 am until 8:oo pm Wednesday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Leoti, Kansas. Memorials may be given to Wichita County LTCU or West Bethany Free Methodist Church in care of the funeral home.
