Marietta Irvin, age 84, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2006 at her home in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on February 23, 1922 in Sitka, Arkansas, the daughter of Charles & Cleo Webb Hall. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1958, moving from Arkansas, she was a homemaker who loved her family and her church. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Scott City where she served on many boards and was nursery attendant for many years. From 1972 to 1982 she and her husband Paul owned and operated Paul's Welding Service.
On August 12, 1940 she married Paul Irvin in Marshall, Arkansas. He passed away on October 3, 2005 in Scott City, Kansas.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl & Bob Hughes of Scott City, Kansas, a brother, Adrain Hall of Cherokee Village, Arkansas. A grandson & wife, Todd & Cindy Hughes of Overland Park, Kansas. A granddaughter and husband, Mary & Travess Funk of Garden City, Kansas. Four Great Grandsons â Brittian, Cory, Jorden & Kaden and One Great Granddaughter â Adyson Lou.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, One Brother â Galen Hall, and One Sister â Nadine Wilson.
