Margaret Caroline Morgan, age 96, passed away on Saturday, February 20, 2010 at Greeley County Health Center in Tribune, Kansas. Margaret was born August 17, 1913 at Omaha, Nebraska the daughter of Elias Avery & Caroline Susanne Talman Jones. She was a retail clerk and homemaker and had been a Greeley County resident since 1935 moving from Arapahoe, Colorado. Margaret was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, the Busy Bee's Club and the Grandma's Pitch Club, all of Tribune, Kansas. On May 6, 1935 she married Merle H. Morgan in Greeley County, Kansas. He passed away on February 20, 1980 at Tribune, Kansas. Margaret's surviving family members include- Three daughters- Mereta Stone and her husband Clyde- Dodge City, Kansas Venita Tippin- Irving, Texas Joyce Robinson and her husband Jack- Mojave Valley, Arizona Three sisters- Mildred Waldren- Tribune, Kansas Edna Grubb- Tribune, Kansas Dorothy Hull- Hutchinson, Kansas Seven Grandchildren, Thirteen great grandchildren and eighteen great great grandchildren She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Lester Jones and Lloyd Jones; two sisters, Ethel Millirons and Goldie Jacobus; a granddaughter, Rhonda Hudson and a great grandson, Justin Mercado. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. ( M.S.T.) Tuesday, February 23, 2010 at the First Presbyterian Church in Tribune, Kansas with the Reverend Michael Underwood officiating. Burial will be in Greeley County Cemetery in Tribune, Kansas. Friends may call from noon to 8:00 p.m. Monday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Tribune, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the First Presbyterian Church in Tribune, Kansas in care of the funeral home.
