Margaret Hartloff

Margaret Mae "Marg" Hartloff, age 88, passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at the Wichita County Long Term Care Unit in Leoti, Kansas. Marg was born December 21, 1921 in Baldwin City, Kansas, the daughter of John & Ruth Ullom Wellborn. She was a homemaker, legal secretary and abstractor and had been a Leoti resident since 1954. Marg was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, a charter member of the Leoti Country Club and an avid bridge player. On December 23, 1943 she married Ben Hartloff at Denver, Colorado. He passed away on December 19, 1991 in Tribune, Kansas. Marg's surviving family members include Three nephews- Tom Hartloff- Blue Rapids, Kansas Sam Hartloff- Fallbrook, California Steve Hartloff- Carmichael, California One neice- Melissa Lippand- Costa Mesa, California Two sister-in-laws Jane Hartloff- Costa Mesa, California Dorothy Newcomer- Las Vegas, Nevada Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, November 5, 2010 at the Leoti Cemetery in Leoti, Kansas with Kevin Larson officiating. Friends may call from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm Thursday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Leoti, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the Wichita County Amusement Association in care of the funeral home.
