Luevina J. Talbott, age 95, passed away at the Logan County Manor Nursing Home in Oakley, Kansas on Friday, July 21, 2006. She was born on January 1, 1911 in Westphalia, Kansas, the daughter of Carl and Mary Koriel Kiefer. She was a resident of Leoti, Kansas until 1943 moving to Scott City, Kansas and then in 1993 she moved to Oakley, Kansas. She was a homemaker, and while in Scott City she helped deliver government commodities.

On December 25, 1929 she married Howard Talbott in Leoti, Kansas. He passed away on December 3, 1995 in Colby, Kansas.
