Lottie Farr

Lottie E. Farr, age 76 passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2013 at the Hays Medical Center in Hays, Kansas. She was born on April 12, 1937 in Caldwell, Kansas, the daughter of Otto Jayce and Alta Grace Terry Cash. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since January of 1996 moving from Garden City, she was an Activities Director at Terrace Garden Nursing Home in Garden City, Kansas for 8 years before she retired. She was a member of the St. Luke's Episcopal Church and Beta Sigma Phi both of Scott City, Kansas. On January 9, 1996 she married Marvin J. Farr in Garden City, Kansas. He survives. Survivors included her Husband - Marvin J. Farr of Scott City, Kansas, Two Daughters - Tesa Fansler of Sanford, Florida, Shawna Angers of Haviland, Kansas, Seven Sons - Brad Downum of Sealy, Texas, Bart Downum of Cypress, Texas, Scott Burling of LaFayette, Louisiana, Justin Fansler of Wichita, Kansas, Courtney Farr of Lawrence, Kansas, Jeremy Crist of Manhattan, Kansas, Jeff Kershner of Clarinda, Iowa, Two Sisters - Louise McGregor of Caldwell, Kansas, Lucille Wolff of Caldwell, Kansas, Fifteen Grandchildren, Two Great Grandchildren, Many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends. She was preceded in death by her Parents, One Granddaughter - Amanda Downum, and One Son - Justin Farr. Funeral Services will be held at the United Methodist Church of Scott City, Kansas at 10:30 a.m Thursday, August 1, 2013 with Fr. Don Martin presiding. Memorials may be given to the Lottie E. Farr Memorial Fund % Price & Sons Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City.
