Loren Elliott

Garden City, Kansas Loren J. Elliott, age 76, died Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at the Via Christi St. Francis Campus in Wichita, Kansas. He was born on June 25, 1935 in Lakin, Kansas the son Ralph and Esther McVey Elliott. He had been a resident of Garden City since the late 1950's and had worked as a Yard Man for Cash & Carry Lumber for several years. He was a member of the Word of Life Church in Garden City, Kansas. On May 27, 1961 he married Charlotte E. Quick in Garden City, Kansas. She survives. Other Survivors Include: Three Sons, Kyle Elliott of Mesa, Arizona, Chad Elliott of Garden City, Kansas and Bruce Elliott of Garden City, Kansas; Two Daughters, Dee Adams of Garden City, Kansas and Valeta Bedker of Garden City, Kansas; Two Brothers, Warren Elliott of Lakin, Kansas and Lawrence Elliott of Loyal, Oklahoma and Four Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 7:00pm on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at the Word of Life Church in Garden City with Pastor Marty Younger presiding. Private family interment will take place at a later date. There are no public calling times. Memorials may be given to the Loren Elliott Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City, Kansas.
