Garden City, Kansas Lois M. Hendrickson, age 84, died Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at her home in Garden City, Kansas. She was born February 3, 1926 in Wichita, Kansas the daughter of Charles Paul and Pearl May Wright Hamilton. A resident of Garden City since 1971 moving from Pratt, Kansas she was a homemaker.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women, the China Painters, and the former Jeanne B. Corley Hospice, all in Garden City, Kansas. She was also a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.
On April 19, 1943, she married Harold W. Hendrickson in Liberal, Kansas. He died on December 3, 1994 in Garden City.
Survivors Include: One Son, Alan (& Victoria) Hendrickson of Sedona, Arizona; Three Daughters, Linda (& Jim) Frantz of Woodland Park, Colorado, Rita Sherman of Garden City, Kansas and Marsha Davis of Garden City, Kansas; 11 Grandchildren, 17 Great-Grandchildren, and 2 Great-Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Paul Hamilton, Jr.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30am on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at the First United Methodist Church in Garden City, Kansas with the Rev. David Bell presiding.
Interment will be held at 3:00pm in the Fairview Cemetery in Montezuma, Kansas.
Friends may call from 1-8pm Monday at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City.
The family requests memorials be given to the St. Catherine Hospice or to the Finney County Meals on Wheels both in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home.
