Lisa Marie Hansen

Lisa Marie Hansen, 29, of Leoti, Kansas, passed away on October 15, 2023. She was born on July 27, 1994, in Columbus, Ohio, the daughter of Christina Alpert and Garry Hansen.

Lisa was the kindest and most compassionate person. She had the best smile and the most beautiful green eyes that could light up your heart.

Lisa was a member of Church in the City - Temple Beth Abraham in Denver, Colorado. She enjoyed being a part of their Messianic Community.

Lisa loved to sing. She sang all the time. She was full of joy.

Lisa was a deeply loved daughter, sister and her favorite role was that of Auntie. She loved her Little Fletchers, and Hansen boys fiercely. She faithfully taught them about God and grace. She loved to work a little lesson into anything she did with them from working in the garden to baking cupcakes. The love and joy she had for them was evident in everything she did.

She was a defender of those that have no voice. Lisa spent most of her life battling incurable, debilitating disease. She would never quit and never let anyone define her by sickness.

She is survived by her mother, Christina Alpert, her sister Kirsten (Breck) Fletcher, brother Eric Hansen, nephews and nieces; Braden and Davis Hansen, Bodie, Remi, Brynlie and Jury Fletcher. Many aunts, uncle and cousins, and many, many friends.

Lisa is predeceased by her father, Garry Aksel Hansen.

She was a woman of great love and faith who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

The Celebration of Lisa’s Life will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at 2:00 central time, at Abundant Life Fellowship, 211 W L Street, Leoti, KS Service will be live streamed by Price and Sons.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to be given to Compassion International, a program for sponsor children in extreme poverty that they may gain means to survival.  Memorials may be sent to Price and Sons Funeral Home, PO Box 161, Leoti, KS 67861.
