Garden City, Kansas Linda Marie Forbes, age 56, died Saturday, February 28, 2015 at her home in Garden City, Kansas. She was born on July, 14, 1958 in Fontana, California, the daughter of Dwayne and Norma Shearer, Rich. A resident of Garden City since 1993, moving from Fontana, California. She was a member of the Pentecostal faith. On April 1, 1983, she married Patrick James Forbes. He passed away onDecember 15, 1998 in Garden City, Kansas. Survivors Include: Five Sons; David snd Kristina Fulton of Oregon, P.J. and Shannon Forbes of Colorado, Shawn Forbes of California, Cody and Bev Masiero of Kansas, J.C. and Amanda Julius of South Dakota; One Daughter; Krystal and Matt Bennett of Kansas; Eight Grandchildren; Makayla of Oregon, Janell of California, Kaitlyn of Colorado, Lucas of Colorado, Rowan of Kansas, Kyrian of Kansas, Gabriel of South Dakota, Two Sisters, Sandi and Loyd Timberlake of California, Mary Rich of Kansas, One Brother; Donny Sowell of Arizona; Nephews and Nieces; Jeremy Rush of California Shane and Melissa Trueblood of Kansas, Crystal and Christopher Padilla of Kansas, Jennifer Timberlake of Kansas, Jonathan Snowder-Hackette of Kansas, Jesssica Chavez of Missouri. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, One Daughter, Barbara Forbes, and Two Grandchildren, Michael Hampton, and Patrick Bennett. Memorial Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, March 2, 2015, at the Salvation Army in Garden City, Kansas, with Lt. Jeff officiating. There is no public visitation. The family requests memorials be given to the Linda Forbes Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City.
