Lillian Simons

Lillian N. Simons, age 70, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. Lillian was born November 2, 1940 at Marienthal, Kansas, the daughter of Reuben A. & Hazel L. Ballard Boulware. A lifetime resident of the Wichita County area, she was a farm wife and homemaker. Lillian was a member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary in Leoti, Kansas. On November 22, 1986 Lillian married James D. Simons at Las Vegas, Nevada. Lillian's surviving family includes- Her Husband- James D. Simons- Marienthal, Kansas Two sons- John Webster- Brownwood, Texas Lance Webster- Marienthal, Kansas Two daughters- Kerri Chavez- Colorado Spring, Colorado Lesha Webster- El Dorado Springs, Missouri Two Sisters - Hazel Creger- El Cajon, California Leona Bissell- Dittmer, Missouri Four step sons- Curtis Simons- Emporia, Kansas Randy Simons- Allen, Texas Wayne Simons- Garden City, Kansas Shawn Simons- Hollywood, Florida One step daughter- Debra Aldridge- McAlester, Oklahoma 21 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren Her parents, two brothers and one grandchild preceded her in death Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am, Monday, March 7, 2011 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Marienthal, Kansas with Father Benjamin Martin officiating. Burial will be held at 3:00 pm Monday at Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas. Friends may call from 10:00 am to 8:00 pm Saturday and from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm Sunday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Leoti, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the Leoti E.M.T.'s in care of the funeral home.
