Levirl Iseminger

Levirl A. Iseminger, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at the St. Luke's Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. He was born on May 30, 1924 in Gueda Springs, Kansas, the son of Bert Isaac and Lulu May Pingry Iseminger. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since the 1930's moving from Arkansas City, Kansas, he was an Operating Engineer for KN Energy for over 30 years before retiring. His memberships include the United Methodist Church, Scott City Shrine Club, and Anthem Masonic Lodge #284 all of Scott City, and the Union of Operating Engineers. On August 17, 1947 he married Mary A. Strickler in Scott City, Kansas. Survivors include his Wife - Mary A. Iseminger of Scott City, Kansas; One Son - Steve & Marcia Iseminger of Olathe, Kansas; One Daughter - Gayle & Jerry Herrman of Garden City, Kansas; One Grandson - Christopher Jerome Herrman of Starke, Florida; Three Granddaughters - Pam & Ray Smith of Austin, Texas, Tara Iseminger of Olathe, Kansas, Lori & Loren Pollock of Alta Vista, Kansas; One Great Grandson - Joshua Pollock of Alta Vista, Kansas; One Great Granddaughter - Michaela Pollock of Alta Vista, Kansas; Two Step Great Grandsons - Michael Pollock of Dighton, Kansas, Matthew Pollock of Topeka, Kansas; One Step Great Granddaughter - Melissa Soodsma of Healy, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral Services will be held at the United Methodist Church in Scott City, Kansas at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 20, 2009 with the Rev. Dennis Carter presiding. Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas. Memorials may be give to the United Methodist Church or Scott County Shrine Club Traveling Fund % of Price & Son Funeral Home in Scott City. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday, 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday and 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Monday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.
