Leatrice Mary Lane, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at her daughters house in Cashion, Oklahoma. Leatrice was born November 23, 1928 in Wichita County, Kansas, the daughter of Carl Ludwick & Mary Koriel Kiefer. A lifetime resident of Wichita and Greeley Counties, she was a farm wife, homemaker, bookkeeper and a former dietician at Greeley County Hospital.
Leatrice was a member of the Parks Presbyterian Church in rural Wichita County and the Greeley County VFW Auxillary.
On March 31, 1958 Leatrice married Thomas G. Lane at Parks Presbyterian Church in rural Wichita County, Kansas. Tom passed away on November 21, 1992 at Garden City, Kansas.
Leatrice's surviving family includes-

Mary Lane- Tribune, Kansas
Julie & Randy Quast- Cashion, Oklahoma
Four grandchildren-

Jessica Allen- Healy, Kansas
Courtney Quast- Cashion, Oklahoma
Grant Quast- Cashion, Okllahoma
One great grand daughter-
Addyson Allen- Healy, Kansas
Her parents, eight siblings including, Elizabeth "Lizzy" Riddough, Luevina Talbot, Lucy Perry Lillie Hicks, Lee Kiefer, Lue Kiefer, Lester Kiefer and Leonard Kiefer precede her in death.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM (MST) Monday, May 5, 2014 at the United Methodist Church in Tribune, Kansas with Pastor Abby Caseman officiating. Burial will be in Greeley County Cemetery in Tribune, Kansas.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to Greeley County EMS or VFW Post # 7521 in Tribune, Kansas in care of the funeral home.
Friends may all from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Saturday and from 1:00 pm until 8:00 pm Sunday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Tribune, Kansas.
