Lawrence "Lucky" Edward Martin, age 79, passed away on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Greeley County Health Center in Tribune, Kansas. Lawrence was born June 14, 1933 in rural Greeley County, Kansas, the son of William Jacob & Leona Marie Becker Martin. A lifetime resident of Greeley County and Tribune, Kansas, he graduated from Greeley County High School in 1951 and was a farmer, mechanic, truck driver and custom harvester.
Lawrence was a member of the Assembly of God Church, where he served as a church deacon and Sunday school teacher for many years. He also served on the board of directors for the Kuder Senior Citizens Center and Greeley County Recycling Center, both of Tribune, Kansas.
On June 15, 1952 he married Dorothy Irene Burnett at Tribune, Kansas.

His parents and a brother, Leroy Martin, precede him in death.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am ( MST ) Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at the Assembly of God Church in Tribune, Kansas with the Reverend Michael Underwood officiating.
Burial will be in Greeley County Cemetery in Tribune, Kansas.
Friends may call from 10:00 am until 8:00 pm Tuesday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Tribune, Kansas
Memorials may be given to the Assembly of God Church, The Greeley County Recycling Center or the Kuder Senior Citizens Center in care of the funeral home.
