Larry Peitz

Larry Gene Peitz, age 50, died Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at his home in Garden City, Kansas. He was born on August 1, 1962 in Garden City, Kansas the son of Clem E. and Dorothy M. Ausmus Peitz. A lifetime resident of Garden City Larry had worked for Robinson Alignment from 1980 until 1987 and since has been a counter salesman at Smith Auto & Truck Parts, Inc.

He was a member of the St. Dominic Catholic Church of Garden City, KS and the National Rifle Association. He enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren, riding Harley's, dancing, fishing, hunting and working in his yard.

On September 11, 1982, he married Pattie R. Roth in Garden City, Kansas.

She survives.

Other survivors include:  One Son, Weston "Jack" & Tia Peitz of Garden City, Kansas; One Daughter, Laramee & Solomon Crist of Garden City, Kansas; His Mother, Dorothy Peitz of Garden City, Kansas; Four Brothers, Dennis Peitz of Holcomb, Kansas, Dwayne Peitz of Garden City, Kansas, Gary Peitz of Greeley, Colorado and Frank Peitz of Garden City, Kansas;  Four Sisters, Rita Herrell of Garden City, Kansas, Theresa Meng of Garden City, Kansas, Rebecca Upshaw of Garden City, Kansas and Carmen Wagner of Garden City, Kansas; His Mother-In-Law, Pat Roth of Garden City, Kansas; Four Grandchildren and One Hundred Thirty-Nine Nephews and Nieces.

He was preceded in death by his father, a Son-In-Law, Kevin James and a Brother, Jim Peitz.

Vigil and Rosary services will be held at 7:00pm on Friday, May 3, 2013 at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Garden City.

The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00am on Saturday at St. Dominic Catholic Church in Garden City.

Friends may call from 10:00am until 5:00pm on Friday at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas.

Interment will be in the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas.

Memorials be given to the Larry Peitz Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City.
