Larry Frederick Minor, age 75, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2013 at Trinity Manor Nursing Home in Dodge City, Kansas. He was born on September 30, 1937 in Leoti, Kansas, the son of Ernst & Eva Marie Campbell Minor. He graduated from Leoti High School in 1956 and then attended Sacramento Junior College graduating in 1958. From 1959-1960 he attended college at Emporia University before going to Kansas State Teachers College also in Emporia, Kansas and received his Masters Degree in Librarianship in 1968.
He enlisted in the California National Guard in October of 1960 at Fort Ord, California and was discharged in October of 1966.
Two of his longtime hobbies included memberships in the James Dean Fan Club in Fairmount, Indiana and membership in the Metropolitan Opera in New York City. He was also a member of the Presbyterian Church in Leoti, Kansas.

Lois Phillis of Hutchinson, Kansas
One Brother Gordon Minor of Stilwell, Oklahoma
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Seven Brothers and Two Sisters.
Graveside Services will be held at the Leoti Cemetery at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 16, 2013 with the Rev. Bob Everest presiding.
Burial will be in the Leoti Cemetery in Leoti, Kansas.
Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Leoti, Kansas.
Memorials may be given to the Trinity Manor Nursing Home in Dodge City, Kansas in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home.
