Larry Massey

Garden City, Kansas Larry N. Massey, age 62, died Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at the St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. He was born on January 27, 1947 in La Junta, Colorado, the son of Horace and Ruby Walsh Massey. A resident of Garden City since 1984 moving from Pueblo, Colorado he was a custodian at the Jennie Wilson Elementary School. He was a member of the Christian faith, was a US Air Force Veteran and was a past member of the Elks Lodge of Pueblo, Colorado. On September 3, 1977, he married Carletta Sue Savage @ Pueblo, Colorado. She survives. Other Survivors Include: Three Brothers, John Massey of Pueblo, Colorado, Ted Massey of Pueblo, Colorado and Keith Massey of Pueblo, Colorado; Three Sisters, Roxie Casey of Durango, Colorado, Vicky Stroup of Boise, Idaho and June Stice of Cheyenne, Wyoming. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am on Saturday, September 19, 2009 at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas with Pastor Lyle Stuehrenberg presiding. Friends may call from 1:00-8:00pm Friday @ the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas. Interment will be held at a later date. The family requests memorials be given to the Larry Massey Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City, Kansas.
