Larry Dean "Hoe" Harrison, age 67, died Thursday, March 29, 2012 at his home in Garden City, Kansas. He was born on August 16, 1944 in Garden City, Kansas the son of George and Betty Grippin Harrison. A lifetime resident of Garden City he had been a backhoe operator and then later was an asphalt plant operator for Finney County.
On November 25, 1973 he married Traci Yardley in Garden City, Kansas. She died March 20, 2009 in Wichita, Kansas.
Survivors Include:
Three Sons, Mike Harrison of Wichita, Kansas,
Greg Harrison of Wichita, Kansas and
Rich Harrison of Wichita, Kansas;
One Daughter, Dena Muniz of Fort Smith, Arkansas;
Two Brothers, Kevin Harrison of Dighton, Kansas and
Rex Harrison of Garden City, Kansas;
Two Sisters, Debbie Jordan of Garden City, Kansas and
Kathy Rhodes of Beaver, Oklahoma;
Fifteen Grandchildren and Eight Great-Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents his wife and a brother.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm on Monday, April 2, 2012 at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas.
Friends may call from 1:00-8:00pm Sunday at the Price & Sons Funeral Home.
Interment will be held in the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas.
Memorials may be given to the Larry Dean Harrison Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home.
