Kenneth Ochs

Garden City, Kansas Kenneth Ray Ochs, age 74, died Friday, June 4, 2010, at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. He was born January 16, 1936 in Mullinville, Kansas, the son of Orville and Hattie Kilgore Ochs. Kenny was an irrigation system salesman and been a resident of Garden City since 1940. He was a member of the First Christian Church, the FFA, the Eagles and the Elks all of Garden City, Kansas. On June 25, 1960 he married Starley E. Henderson in Garden City, Kansas. She died June 15, 2002 in Garden City, KS. Survivors Include: Two Sons, Kevin Noel of Sanford, NC and Bruce Ochs of Garden City, KS; Two Daughters, Rene' D. Biel of Pleasanton, CA and April Williams of Garden City, KS; One Brother, Gene Ochs of Sublette, KS; Two Sisters, Dorothy Speer of Valley Center, KS and Eileen Gilchrist of Sublette, KS; Fifteen Grandchildren and Three Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Kimberly Baier and one brother, Archie Ochs. Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm on, Saturday, June 19, 2010 at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas with Rev. Dale Walling presiding. There will be no public visitation at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas. The family requests memorials be given to the Kenny Ochs Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City.
