Kendall D. Thomas, age 63, passed away on Wednesday, May 2, 2012 at his home in Kinsley, Kansas. He was born on November 2, 1948 in Garden City, Kansas, the son of Dale Felix and Velma Edith Bretton Thomas. A longtime resident of Scott City, Kansas he moved to Kinsley, Kansas in 2006 He was a retired Police Officer from the Scott City Police Department.
He was a member of the Community Congregational Church in Kinsley, Kansas
On March 18, 2006 he married Linda Dupree in Dodge City, Kansas. She survives.
Survivors include his Wife - Linda Thomas of Kinsley, Kansas, One Son - Keith & Stephanie Thomas of Scott City, Kansas, One Grandson - Bretton Thomas of Scott City, Kansas, One Brother - Kenneth & Norma Thomas of Garden City, Kansas, One Stepson - Justin & Karen Miller of Kinsley, Kansas, Two Stepdaughters - Kim & Mark Warren of Fort Worth, Texas, Angela & Jason Arensman of Kinsley, Kansas, Nephews - Kenton, Michael, Rick & Kevin Thomas, Five Step Grandchildren and One Step Great Grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his Parents.
Memorial Services will be held at the Community Congregational Church in Kinsley, Kansas at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, May 6, 2012.
Funeral Services will be held at the United Methodist Church in Scott City, Kansas at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday May 8, 2012.
Rev. John Wolf of the Community Congregational Church in Kinsley, Kansas will be presiding for both services.
Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas.
Memorials may be given to the Western Kansas Child Advocacy Center or Kinsley Baptist Church Youth Group% Price & Sons Funeral Home.
Visitation will be from 1:00p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday and 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City.
