Kendall Lee Hornback, age 50, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at the Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City, Kansas. He was born on February 16, 1964 in Louisville, Kentucky, the son Barney Lee and Brenda Lou Riggs Hornback. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 2001 moving from Sonora, Kentucky, he was an Advocate for the Disabled. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas. On June 16, 2001 he married Cindy D. Shull at the First Christian Church in Scott City, Kansas. She survives. Survivors Include his Wife - Cindy D. Hornback of Scott City, Kansas, Mother - Brenda L. Hornback of Sonora, Kentucky, Father - Barney L. & Patsy Hornback of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Two Sisters - Melissa Hornback & Chris Griggers of Sonora, Kentucky, Marlena & Jason Burkhead of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, One Niece - Harlee Griggers of Sonora, Kentucky, Two Nephews - Alexander Burkhead of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Jacob Burkhead of Elizabethtown, Kentucky, Two Great Nieces - Candace Gibbs of Broomfield, Colorado, Brandi Gibbs of Broomfield, Colorado. Memorial Services will be held at the First Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 17, 2014 with the Rev. Kyle Evans presiding. Memorials in LIEU of Flower may be given to the Kendall Hornback Memorial Fund % Price & Sons Funeral Home. Inurnment will be in the Dighton Cemetery in Dighton, Kansas.
