Keith Ardis Shriver, age 84, died on Saturday, May 12, 2012 at his home in Reno, NV. Keith was born on June 22, 1927 in Dodge City, Kansas, the son of Taylor Ardis and Helen Marguriete Helfrick Shriver. Following the Dust Bowl days of the 1930's, his family moved to Buhl, Idaho. Shortly after his father's death in 1937, the family relocated to Berkley, California. Keith entered the U.S. Navy in June, 1944 and served in the Combat Air Crew. He was honorably discharged from active duty in June, 1946, while stationed in Livermore, California. Keith moved to Sparks, Nevada in 1973, where he worked in the construction business, later moving to Reno, Nevada.
On Nov. 9, 1945, Keith married Jean Chism in California. She preceded him in death on May 10, 1985. On January 11, 1986, he married Virginia Madden-Clark in Reno, Nevada. She survives.

One son, Rocky Shriver of Polson, Montana;
Two step-sons, Joseph Clark of North San Juan, California, and
Bruce Clark and wife, Charlene, of Reno, Nevada;
One step-daughter, Donna Golke and husband, John, of Grants Pass, Oregon;
Three grandsons, Shane Shriver and wife, Deborah, of Templeton, California,
Klint Shriver and wife, Tori, of Polson, Montana, and
Randy Shriver of Paso Robles, California;
Four step-grandchildren, Jason Storni, Ocean Clark,and Chalena Jolie, all of Victoria, BC, and
Shelby Hedgecock of Murrieta, California;
Seven great-grandchildren, Kyuss, Marissa, Madison, Autumn, Clarice, Tai and Noah Shriver;
One Step great-granddaughter, Elnora Jolie;
Two sisters, Carolyn Janzen of Scott City, Kansas, and
Janet Lewis of Hampstead, North Carolina;
And numerous nephews and nieces.
He was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Pat Shriver and a step-son, Darrell Clark.
A private family memorial service was held in the Grand Teton National Park.
