Kathryn Price

Kathryn Price , age 84, died at Kearny County Hospital in Lakin, Kansas on Tuesday, August 3, 2021. She was born August 13, 1936 in Leavenworth Kansas, the daughter of Myrle and Mayme Henshaw.

She was a retired from working as a cook in school districts and many restaurants in Garden City and Melvern KS.

She enjoyed gardening, cooking, sewing and spending time with her family.

Survivors include:

Two daughters                  Margie Beatty of Burlinggame, Kansas

                                                Connie (Larry) Holsted of Garden City, Kansas

Five Grandchildren, Six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, John, ray, Russell, Bob and Jim. Three sisters, Maxine, Chris, and Marion. One daughter Marilyn Fraze; one granddaughter, Heather Clepper Becker.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, August 7, 2021 at 10:30 am at the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas.

Visitation will be on Friday, August 6, 2021 10-8 with the family present from 5-8 at Price & Sons Funeral Home.
