Judy K. Ribbing, age 67, passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2014 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on January 14, 1947 in Garden City, Kansas, the daughter of Roy and Bessie McClinden Tabor. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 2007 moving from Garden City, Kansas, she was a retired caterer and cook at the Moose Lodge in Garden City, Kansas.
Judy enjoyed sewing, making many if her own clothes, crocheting and creating many of her own crochet patterns. She enjoyed cooking and baking. When she was catering, she catered many wedding dinners, birthday dinners and funeral dinners. Judy enjoyed spending time with family and friends. The most enjoyable time for her was the time she had with her husband of 42 years after he retired.
Judy was a member of the Moose Lodge in Garden City, Kansas.
On February 12, 1972 she married Larry G. Ribbing in Garden City, Kansas. He survives.
Survivors include her Husband - Larry G. Ribbing of Scott City, Kansas, Niece - Judy Knoll of Wichita, Kansas, Nephew - Robert Tabor of Topeka, Kansas, Mother In Law - Geraldine Ribbing of Scott City, Kansas, Six Brother In Laws and Five Sister In Laws.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Two Brothers, One Sister, One Nephew and Three Nieces.
Memorials Services for Larry Gene Ribbing and his wife, Judy K. Ribbing will be held at 10:30 am Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the First Baptist Church in Leoti, Kansas with the Reverend Gary Salmans officiating. Inurnment for both will be in Leoti Cemetery in Leoti, Kansas with military honors for Larry.
Larry Gene Ribbing was born May 21, 1945 in Garden City, Kansas, the son of Eugene W. & Geraldine Oxford Ribbing. He passed away on Thursday, January 4, 2018 at Leoti, Kansas. He was a Plant Operator for Sunflower Electric, retiring in 2007. Larry served in the United States Air Force from 1964 through 1968.

Their Fur-Babies, Ted E., Mickey & Minnie, who died over the years, will be buried with them also.
Memorials may be given to the Leoti E.M.T.’s in Larry & Judy’s name in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home in Leoti, Kansas. There will be no visitation times.
