Judy S. Muench

Judy S. Muench, age 78, passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, April 21, 2025, in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on September 14, 1946, in Clay Center, Kansas, the daughter of Axel W. and Wilma Meyer Miller. She was a resident of Scott City, Kansas, since 1970, moving from Leonardville, Kansas.

Judy attended the United Methodist Church in Scott City, Kansas. She was a member of the American Quarter Horse Association and the Kansas Quarter Horse Association.

On October 14, 1967, she married John Dennis “J.D.” Muench in Walsburg, Kansas. He passed away on January 3, 1996.

Survivors include her Daughter - Julie M. Dawson of Burlington, Kansas, Friend - Sue Nickel of Scott City, Kansas, and Sister - Linda Robinson of Manhattan, Kansas, Grandson - Owen Dawson of Burlington, Kansas, and Granddaughter - Rylie Dawson of Burlington, Kansas.

She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Son - Jay Muench, and Brother-in-law - Larry Robinson.

Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at United Methodist Church in Scott City, Kansas, with Rev. Jeff Goetzinger presiding.

In Lieu Of Flowers, memorials can be written to the Judy Muench Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home, PO Box 553, Scott City, Kansas.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Price & Sons Funeral Home, 410 S. Washington St., Scott City, Kansas.

Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas.
