Judy Jones

Judy Dareline Jones, age 66, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2010 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas, following a long battle with CREST Syndrome. She was born on December 6, 1943 in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the daughter of Darrell & Lucille Weimer Hobson. She was a resident of Garden City, Kansas since 1954, moving from Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Judy was a retired Licensed Insurance Saleswoman and had worked for various local insurance companies. She was a member of the Word of Life Church of Garden City and the Humane Society. On July 2, 1994, she married H. Dave Jones in Garden City. He survives. Other Survivors Include: Two Sons, Russ Knaus and Chris Knaus, both of Garden City, Kansas; One Step-Son, Logan Jones of Norfolk, Virginia; One Step-Daughter, Kamela Jones of Minneapolis, Minnesota; One Brother, Don Hobson of Troy, Ohio; Nine Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren She was preceded in death by her Parents and one daughter, Saundra Shailynn Knaus. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30am on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at the Word Of Life Church in Garden City, Kansas with Pastor Lenoir Randle presiding. Interment will be in the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas Friends may call from 10am-8pm on Monday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City. The family requests that In Lieu of Flowers, memorials be given to the Daily Walk In The Kingdom Ministries in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas.
