Josephine F. Gaschler, age 92, passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2012 at Homestead of Topeka in Topeka, Kansas. She was born on February 20, 1920 in West Plains, Missouri, the daughter of Joseph and Hannah Lippe Cunningham. A resident of Scott City, Kansas from 1953 until 2004 moving from and then back to Topeka, Kansas, she was an LPN.
She was a member of the St. Joseph Catholic Church and the VFW Auxiliary both of Scott City, Kansas.
On November 21, 1949 she married John Gaschler in Topeka, Kansas. He passed away on May 11, 2002 in Scott City, Kansas.
Survivors include his Three Sons - John Gaschler Jr. of Garden City, Kansas, Thomas & LuAnn Gaschler of Cheyenne Wells, CO, Edward Gaschler of Topeka, Kansas, One Granddaughter - Alicia & Travis Kraft of Hugoton, Kansas.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Two Brothers and One Sister.
Vigil Services will be held at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City, Kansas at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 11, 2012.
Funeral Services will be held at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City, Kansas 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 12, 2012 with Fr. Bernard Felix presiding.
Memorials may be given to the St. Joseph Catholic Church or Scott County EMT's % Price & Sons Funeral Home.
Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Tuesday @ Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.
