John Rodriguez

John C. Rodriguez, age 60, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at the St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. He was born on January 26, 1953 in Amarillo, Texas, the son of Jose R. and Antonia Cruz Rodriguez. A resident of Leoti, Kansas since 1997 moving from Dimmitt, Texas, he was a truck driver for Seaboard Farms of Leoti, Kansas. He was a member of the Catholic Faith. On November 26, 1982 he married Lupe Torres in Dimmitt, Texas. She survives. Survivors Include his Wife - Lupe T. Rodriguez of Leoti, Kansas, Six Daughters - Jennifer Duran of Newton, Kansas, Anna Marie Rodriguez of Dumas, Texas, Lupita Rodriguez of Leoti, Kansas, Amanda Altman of Leoti, Kansas, Veronica Rodriguez-Castillo of Garden City, Kansas, Natasha Rodriguez of Leoti, Kansas, Two Sisters - Mary Torres of Dimmitt, Texas, Janie Castillo of San Angelo, Texas, Four Brothers - Jessie Rodriguez of Garden City, Kansas, Jacinto Rodriguez of Garden City, Kansas, Julian Rodriguez of Sikeston,Missouri, Agapito Rodriguez of Sikeston, Missouri, Nineteen Grandchildren and One Great Grandchild. He was preceded in death by his Parents and Three Brothers. Funeral Services will be held at the St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church - Leoti, Kansas at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 27, 2013 with Fr. Benjamin Martin presiding. Interment will be in the Leoti Cemetery in Leoti, Kansas. Memorials in Lieu of Flower may be given to the John C. Rodriguez Memorial Fund % Price & Sons Funeral Home. Visitation will be at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Leoti from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday.
