Martha Jane Bollinger, age 85, passed away on Friday, August 6, 2021, at the Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on June 11, 1936, in LaPlata, Missouri, the daughter of Bernard and Blanche Willey Campbell. A lifetime resident of Scott City, Kansas, she worked for Scott County Law Enforcement for 4 years and then retired from KN Energy after 18 years of service.
She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas for over 60 years, served as deaconess, ABW Treasurer, Bible Study Circle Treasurer, Bible School teacher, Sunday School Teacher, calling coordinator for Baptist Senior Fellowship for several years, and was also a member of the XiDelta Kappa Sorority division of Beta Sigma Phi sorority.
On October 27, 1956, she married Alan Dale Bollinger in Grigston, Kansas. He passed away on October 1, 2014, in Scott City, Kansas.
Survivors include her One Son - Dan & Joni Bollinger of Dighton, Kansas, Two Daughters - Melinda & André Girod of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Tami & Coleby Thomas of Hays, Kansas, One Sister - Dorothy Edge of Gulf Port, Mississippi, Four Granddaughters - Julie Fields of Fort Drum, New York, Mishelle Williams of Sevierville, Tennessee, Cora Thomas of Hays, Kansas, Stella Thomas of Hays, Kansas, Three Grandsons - Scott Williams of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Tony Girod of Germany, Trevor Bollinger of Lawrence, Kansas, Eight Great Grandchildren, and One Great Great Grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, and One Sister - Virginia Sipe.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, August 13, 2021, at the First Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas with Rev. Kyle Evans presiding.
