James (Jim) Weatherred, age 60, former Deerfield resident, died Friday, Dec. 7, 2012 at his home in Wellington, Colorado. He was born Nov.14, 1952 in Lamar, Colorado the son of Duane and Wanda Grauberger Weatherred A resident of Colorado since 1970 he worked for the Department of Agriculture for 18 years and then ran his own consulting and wireless internet provider service.
On August 12, 1972, he married Diana Berry at Mirror Lake near Tincup, Colorado.

His Wife, Diana Weatherred of the home;
Three children, Julie, Jennifer & Jimmy Weatherred of the home;
Three Sisters, Judy Banek of Aurora, Colorado,
Barbara Jarboe of Lakin, Kansas and
Karen Waechter of Ulysses, Kansas;
Three Brothers, Don Springer of Lamar, Colorado,
Rick Weatherred of Deerfield, Kansas and
Mike Weatherred of Gardner, Kansas;
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Memorial Graveside services will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at the Deerfield Cemetery in Deerfield, Kansas followed by a reception at the United Methodist Church in Deerfield, Kansas.
There will be no calling times at the funeral home.
