James Wallace

Wichita, Kansas James F. Wallace Sr., age 58, died Friday, August 7, 2009, at the Golden Living Nursing Home in Wichita, Kansas. He was born May 20, 1951 in Garden City, Kansas the son of Harry F. and M. Reve' Gildart Wallace. A resident of Wichita since 2005 moving from Garden City, he had been the owner and operator of Donuts, Etc. in Big Spring, Texas where he had lived from 1981 until 1997. He was a member of the Christian Faith. On September 29, 1979, he married Ida M. Stover in Titusville, Pennsylvania. She survives. Other Survivors Include: One Son, James F. Wallace Jr. of Topeka, Kansas; One Daughter, Jennifer M. Babitzke of Wichita, Kansas; One Brother, Charles F. Wallace of Garden City, Kansas; Two Sisters, Avis A. Wallace of Garden City, Kansas and Anita R. Wallace of Garden City, Kansas and One Grandson, Jacob Wallace of Wichita, Kansas. He was preceded in death by his parents. Memorial Service will be held at 7:00pm on, Thursday, August 13, 2009 at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas with Rev. Randy Caddell presiding. There will be no public visitation. Private family interment will be in the Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Garden City. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be given to the Golden Living Center- 4007 E Lincoln, Wichita, KS, 67218 or Hospice Care of Kansas- 808 S Hillside, Wichita, KS 67209 both in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City.
