Ivadene Helpingstine, age 83, died August 1, 2016 at the Garden Valley Retirement Village in Garden City, Kansas. She was born on February 1, 1933 in Imperial, Nebraska, the daughter of Cliffton Byron and Gladys N. Ransom Hiatt.
She has been a member of the Garden City Community since 1984.
On April 17, 1952 she married Mark Ernest Helpingstine in Imperial, Nebraska. He passed away in 1994.

Mark Richard and Diane Helpingstine of Holcomb, Kansas
Michael Ray and Kimberly Helpingstine of Scott City, Missouri
Bobby and Vickie Helpingstine of Wellington, Kansas
Two Sister Naomi Demsey of Tuscan, Arizonia
Twilla and Harold Coleman of Kingman, Arizona
Fifteen Grandchildren, Thirty-three Great Grandchildren,
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Brother Arlen Hiatt.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, August 5, 2016 at 11:00 a.m.. at the First United Methodist Church in Garden City, Kansas.
Open calling hours will be on Thursday, August, 4, 2016 from 3-6 at Price and Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas.
Private family burial will take place at a later date.
