Irmalee Eggleston, age 89, passed away on Monday, August 24, 2015 at the Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on January 7, 1926 in Logan County, Kansas, the daughter of Floyd and Gladys Council Lowe. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1949 moving from Winona, Kansas, she was a secretary for Farm Bureau Insurance until retirement. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Scott City, Kansas. She was also a member of the First United Methodist Church Bell Choir and the Scott City Music Club both of Scott City, Kansas. On June 16, 1946 she married Selwin H. Eggleston in Colby, Kansas. He passed away on July 22, 1998 in Scott City, Kansas. Survivors include her One Son - Gary & Susan Eggleston of Scott City, Kansas, Four Grandchildren - Travis & Michelle Eggleston of Scott City, Kansas, Trina & Kevin Hoeme of Tonganoxie, Kansas, Tyler & Michelle Willbanks of Wichita, Kansas, Tanner & Liz Willbanks of Lawrence, Kansas, One Brother - Dick Lowe of Caldwell, Kansas, One Sister - Eleanor Sponsol of Cambridge, Illinois, Five Great Grandchildren and One Great Great Grandchild. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband and One Daughter - Tonja Holovach. Funeral Services will be held at the First United Methodist Church of Scott City, Kansas at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 29, 2015 with Pastor John Lewis presiding. Memorials may be given to the SCHS Music & Band Trip % Price & Sons Funeral Home. Interment will be in the 0Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday and 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday.
