Herbe Dean Olsen

Herbe Dean Olsen, 70 of Jennings, Florida, passed away on Saturday, August 8, 2020, at the Veteran’s Affairs Medical Center in Lake City, Florida.  He was born in Garden City, Kansas to the late Herbert and Euna Maude Wilcox Olsen.  Mr. Olsen had made his home in Jennings since 2015 and prior in Kansas.  He was a graduate of Garden City High School class of 1968 and was an over the road truck driver all of his adult working life.  Mr. Olsen loved to fish, camp and collect guns, especially his .357 he bought in the late 1970’s.  He was preceded in death by one sister, Carol Tracy. Survivors include two daughters, Melissa Olsen (Dock Harris), Jennings, FL and Tawnia Campbell (J.D.), Columbus, IN, and seven grandchildren, Elizabeth Fleming, Konner Werth, Danielle Fleming, Logan Orwig, Cale Orwig, Brandon Fleming and Devin Olsen. Graveside funeral services will be conducted on Saturday, August 15, 2020 at 10:30 AM at the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas under the direction of Price and Sons Funeral Home in Garden City. The graveside services will be streamed on Facebook Live on the Price & Sons Funeral Home Facebook page.
