Helen M. Fouser, age 89, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2009 at the Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on August 9, 1919 in Wichita County, Kansas, the daughter of Ellsworth and Jessie Ethel Ray Case. A resident of Scott City since 1941 moving from the family farm in Scott County, she was a homemaker.
Memberships Include the First Christian Church of Scott City, Kansas, BW Club of Scott City, Kansas and Several Bridge Clubs all of Scott City, Kansas.
On March 28, 1936 she married Lloyd L. Fouser in Eads, Colorado. He passed away on May 14, 1971 in Garden City, Kansas.
Survivors include Two Sons - Darrell & Celia Fouser of Scott City, Kansas, Lloyd K. Fouser of Scott City, Kansas, Two Grandchildren - Todd Fouser of Brooklyn, New York, Catherine & Mike Valentine of Lake Winnebago, Missouri, Two Great Granddaughters - Abigail Valentine of Lake Winnebago, Missouri, Hannah Valentine of Lake Winnebago, Missouri and One Brother in Law - Ray Barger of El Reno, Oklahoma .
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Three Sisters â Cynthia Meryle Belgard, Audrey Fern Sheils and Shirley Barger, and One Brother â Ray Case.
Graveside Services will be held at the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas at 10:00 a.m. Monday, July 6, 2009 with the Rev. Warren Hett Presiding.
Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas.
Memorials may be given to the Scott County Historical Society or Park Lane Nursing Home % of Price & Son Funeral Home in Scott City.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday and 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday.
