Hazel Irene Reynolds, age 85, went to be with her Savior on Thursday, April 23, 2020 from Greeley County Hospital in Tribune, Kansas. Hazel was born March 1, 1935 in Scott City, Kansas, the daughter of Curtis Palmer & Laura Juanita ( Morgan ) Woods. A lifetime resident of Greeley County, Kansas, she was a farm wife and homemaker.
Hazel attended Abundant Life Fellowship Church in Leoti, Kansas.
On December 26, 1954 she married Harold Edward Reynolds, Jr. in Tribune, Kansas. Junior passed away on June 27, 1985 in Tribune, Kansas.
Hazel’s surviving family includes three children-Joe & Jannifer Reynolds, Jim Reynolds and Jill & Octavio Vazquez, Sr. all of Tribune, Kansas. A daughter-in-law, Karen Reynolds of Tribune, Kansas; a brother, Dale Woods of Aurora, Colorado and nine grandchildren including Kayla & Phillip Hamman, Dustin Reynolds, Chasity & Dustin Fritzmeier, Brandy & Scott Clevenger, Tyrell & Katy Reynolds, Erik Vazquez, Aaron Vazquez, Octavio & Bianca Vazquez, Jr. and Yuliana Vazquez. Also included are nineteen great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
Her parents, Curt & Laura Woods; husband, Harold E. Reynolds, Jr.; a son, Jay Reynolds; three brothers, Henry Woods, Donald Woods, Robert Woods and three sisters, Jennie Johnson, Mary Stevenson and Laura Page precede her in death.
Due to the current virus restrictions, the family will hold private services in Greeley County Cemetery, Tribune, Kansas with Pastor Dustin Fritzmeier officiating with public services to be held later this year.
