HAZEL WAS BORN AUGUST 15, 1915 AT HARGRAVE, KANSAS, THE DAUGHTER OF JAMES A. & ELIZABETH C. HICKLE ADAMS. A 1933 GRADUATE OF WICHITA COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL IN LEOTI, KANSAS, SHE WAS A HOMEMAKER AND HAD BEEN A RESIDENT OF CANON CITY, COLORADO SINCE 1977 MOVING FROM TRIBUNE, KANSAS.
HAZEL WAS A CHARTER MEMBER OF THE FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH IN TRIBUNE, KANSAS, WHERE SHE SERVED AS A SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER, WAS ACTIVE IN MISSIONS WORK AND THE WOMENS CHRISTIAN TEMPERANCE UNIT. SHE WAS CURRENTLY AN ATTENDING MEMBER OF THE FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH IN CANON CITY, COLORADO.
ON MARCH 9, 1940 SHE MARRIED VICTOR RAUCH AT CANON CITY, COLORADO. HE DIED APRIL 24, 1989 AT COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO.
HAZEL'S SURVIVORS INCLUDE- ONE SON- WALTER RAUCH- TRIBUNE, KANSAS TWO DAUGHTERS- CAROLYN CARR- BELMOPAN, BELIZE MARGARET FRAKES- PUEBLO, COLORADO ONE BROTHER- HAROLD ADAMS- SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS TWO SISTERS WANDA HAVERLY SOUTH GLENN FALLS, NEW YORK DORIS LAMPELA- KISSIMMEE, FLORIDA TEN GRANDCHILDREN, NINETEEN GREAT GRANDCHILDREN SHE WAS PRECEEDED IN DEATH BY ELEVEN BROTHERS AND SISTERS AND A DAUGHTER, PATRICIA RAUCH.
FUNERAL SERVICES WILL BE HELD AT 10: 00 A. M. (M.D.T.) MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 17, 2007 AT THE FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH IN TRIBUNE, KANSAS WITH THE REVERENDS MARK RANDOLPH AND MIKE UNDERWOOD OFFICIATING. BURIAL WILL BE IN GREELEY COUNTY CEMETERY IN TRIBUNE, KANSAS.
