Hampton L. "Hank" Burnett, age 70, passed away at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas, on Thursday, March 2, 2006. He was born on March 14, 1935 in Monticello, Arkansas, the son of John Warder and Velma Pierson Burnett. In 1954 he moved from Monticello, Arkansas to Scott City, Kansas to work as a welder at the Century Refining Co.

On April 15, 1957, he married Lynda Roush in Clayton, New Mexico. She survives.
