Hallie Schwindt

Hallie Roy Schwindt, age 95, died Friday, Jan. 18, 2013 at the St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. He was born on June 13, 1917 in Marienthal, Kansas the son of John & Katherine Stang Schwindt. A resident of Garden City since 1983 he had been a farmer and rancher. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Garden City, Kansas. He married D. Eileen Redding in Scott City, Kansas. She survives. Other Survivors Include: Two Daughters, Mary Love of Garden City, Kansas and Lisa Rosales of San Antonio, Texas; Four Grandchildren and Two Great-Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Three Brothers, Albert, Herman & Clifford Schwindt and Four Sisters, Hattie Gerstberger, Elsie Smith, Alberta Leach & Esther Gough. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30am on Wednesday, January 23, 2013, at the First United Methodist Church in Garden City, Kansas. Interment will be held in the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas. Friends may call from 10:00am-8:00pm Tuesday at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the church in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home.
