H. Preston Matthew LaMastres

H. Preston Matthew LaMastres, age 45, died on Friday, January 15, 2021 in Garden City, Kansas.  He was born on July 10, 1975 in Scott City, Kansas, the son of Ray E. LaMastres and Deborah Sue Schmidt.

He was a resident of Holcomb, Kansas and worked various jobs over the years after finding his love for the culinary arts.  Preston was a member of HPPR, NPR, Wild Plains Gourmet, Pleasant Fest, Fresh Picked Parsley.  Most recently he was the owner and operator of Preston’s Sandwich Shack.

Survivors include: Fiancee - Cheyenne Mouser of Holcomb, Kansas; Daughter - Sierra Mouser of Holcomb, Kansas; Mother - Sue (Chester) Schmidt of Arlington, Kansas; Three Brothers - Gary Ray (Blair) LaMastres of Kansas City, Missouri, Jeffery LaMastres of Murray, Iowa, Doug Peterman of Arlington, Kansas; One Sister -  Susannah (Jason) Struzik of Dodge City, Kansas; Dog - Presto of Holcomb, Kansas; 11 Nieces and Nephews and several great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ray E. LaMastres.

There will be no calling times.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic the family has requested everyone attend the service virtually at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 23,2021 on the Price & Sons Funeral Home Facebook Page.  The funeral service livestream will start at 1:55 pm.

Private family services will be held at later date
