H. Clifford Hillery, age 87, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2021, at his home in Scott City, Kansas. He was born on November 29, 1933, in Logan County, Kansas, the son of Thomas Jay and Mary Margurite Majors Hillery. He was a truck driver, custom Harvester, horse trader, mechanic, and cattleman.
On April 28, 1951, he married Patricia Mae Stevens in Scott City, Kansas. She survives.
Survivors include his Wife - Pat Hillery of Scott City, Kansas, Two Sons - Harley Hillery of Lakin, Kansas, Lee & Michelle Hillery of Winona, Kansas, Two Daughters - Garee & Clifton Geist-Smith of Scott City, Kansas and Joy & Jay Haverfield of Colby, Kansas, Four Sisters - Mary Wright of Russell Springs, Kansas, Laura Sporer of Oakley, Kansas, Helen Lunsford of Oakley, Kansas, Bernice Mahoney of Liberal, Kansas, Ten Grandchildren - Dawn Oberheim of Garden City, Kansas, Jill tanner of Wichita, Kansas, L. Jay Geist of Eldorado, Kansas, Richard Fisher of Las Vegas, Nevada, Douglas Fisher of Topeka, Kansas, Max Haverfield of Kansas City, Kansas, Heath Haverfield of Lawrence, Kansas, Katie Hillery of Hays, Kansas, Austin Hillery of Winona, Kansas, and Clare Hillery of Winona, Kansas.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, and Four Brothers - Tom, Donnie, Jimmy & Virgil.
Memorials services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 9, 2021, at the First Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas with Rev. Kyle Evans and good friend and speaker Calvin Haverfield. Services will be streamed live on Facebook at Price and Sons Funeral Home page (www.facebook.com/priceandsons) starting at 10:25 AM.
There will be no calling times.
Inurnment will be in the Russell Springs Cemetery in Russell Springs, Kansas.
