Gwen M. Ramsey

Gwen M. Ramsey, age 84, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. She was born on April 10, 1940, in Scott City, Kansas, the daughter of Earl Ray & Lucy Matilda Kiefer Perry. A lifetime resident of Scott City, Kansas, she was a homemaker.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas.

On January 27, 1979, she married Jon M. Ramsey in Corpus Christi, Texas. He survives.

Survivors include her Husband - Jon M. Ramsey of Scott City, Kansas, Two Sons - Dave & Susan Pfenninger of Garden City, Kansas, Chris & Pati Pfenninger of Scott City, Kansas, Three Brothers - Lloyd Perry of Leoti, Kansas, Dean Perry of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Dale Perry of Flagler, Colorado, Eight Grandchildren, and Ten Great Grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her Parents and One Brother - Carl Perry.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 14, 2025, at the First Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas with the Rev. Kyle Evans presiding.

Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2025, and 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Price & Sons Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington Street, Scott City, Kansas, 67871.
