Scott City Golda Lillis Cunningham, age 98, passed away on Friday, August 6, 2010 at the Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on February 2, 1912 in Keystone, Oklahoma, the daughter of Robert J. and Virginia Zickefoose Lewis. She lived in Scott City, Kansas for most of her married life except for the 12 years she lived in Liberal, Kansas until her husband passed away. Lillis moved back to Scott City in 1997. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Assembly of God in Liberal and Scott City, Kansas. On August 30, 1932 she married Lloyd Cunningham in Dodge City, Kansas. He passed away on August 15, 1985 in Liberal, Kansas. Survivors Include her Four Sons - Keith & Marlene Cunningham of Fritch, Texas, Verle & Loretta Cunningham of Topeka, Kansas, Danny & Judy Cunningham of Loveland, Colorado, Tommy & Danae Cunningham of Universal City, Texas, One Sister - Nella Funk of Scott City, Kansas, Eleven Grandchildren, Sixteen Great Grandchildren and Seven Great Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, One Infant Son â Lloyd Dean Cunningham, One Infant Daughter â Verna Jean Cunningham, and Two Grandsons â Troy Cunningham and Terry Furguson. Funeral Service will be held at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas at 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 13, 2010 with Ken Davidson presiding. Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday with the family receiving friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Friday.
